Iis giving 404 error for aspx files

I have configured the IIS to publish this website and server pages and code work fine. Now my issue is, " some" of the static files ( like images, CSS, or JavaScript) give error 404. I am having great difficulty with a 404 File Not Found error. But if I change it to test. html, it gives the familiar HTTP 404 File Not Found error. net/ tomkmvp/ archive/ / 04/ 27/ troubleshooting- a- 404.
